Mihila Tex is shaped by the belief that the future of textiles lies at the intersection of craft, technology and responsibility. The name reflects this intent; ‘Mihila’ represents ecological consciousness and care for the planet, while ‘Tex’ speaks to textile expertise and innovation.

The logo draws inspiration from the knit structure at the heart of textile making, symbolising precision, connection and strength. It reflects how sustainability and technology are thoughtfully woven together in a way that is both modern and grounded.

Rooted in Sri Lankan heritage, the design also echoes the intricacy and craftsmanship found in traditional wood carvings from Kandy a reminder that progress is strongest when built on enduring skill and values.
